Soup Saturday returned to Oliver Hall this past Saturday, October 18th! Many locals were waiting for their soup even before the doors officially opened at noon–a testament to the fact that our soups are warm and delicious! We ladled out a variety of soups including: Daryl’s Broccoli Cheese, Bob’s Beef Vegetable, Sharon’s Stuffed Potato, Karen’s Wedding, Sue’s Chicken Noodle, and Michelle’s Spicy Pumpkin. Fresh bread from Breadworks was offered as well.
A free bowl of soup and bread are always offered to those who want to eat in the parish hall–it is a nice opportunity for fellowship with the local neighborhood.
Take-out pints are available for purchase for $4.00. Order forms for soup are available the week prior to each Soup Saturday. Some of our best customers buy 6 to 8 pints of soup at a time! We sell out every time!
