Report on All Saints Missions

Thank you to everyone who supported our missions in 2018. Whether you donated food, time, or money, your support of our missions helped make 2018 a successful year in All Saints mission to give back to our community. This year we were able to give monetary donations to the Genesis Center and St. Stephen’s Neighborhood Youth Opportunity Program. We collected food of all kinds, such as peanut butter, pastas, and canned dinners, which were donated to programs like The DoorWay in Avalon and the North Boroughs Food Pantry. Holy Week 2019

Holy Week Saturday, April 13 Palm Cross Making 10 AM This year we will be making our palm crosses for Palm Sunday during our Community Soup Day. Come early to make crosses and stay for a free bowl of soup for lunch or come later and join in the cross making after lunch. Doors will be opened by 10 AM (lunch served from noon to 2). Christ Church Women’s Retreat

Several ladies from All Saints attended Christ Church Women’s Retreat over the weekend of April 6th. Along with prayer and study, one of the activities for the weekend was an outreach project to make toiletry bags for the Repuprosed Store. These bags are given to victims of human trafficking. Prior to the retreat, donations for the project were collected at All Saints. The theme for this year’s retreat was “Prayer: A(sk) S(eek) K(nock)”. The retreat was held at Martina Spirtuality Renewal Center and ran from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon.

Welcoming Dan and Hallie

The Rev. Dan Isadore was ordained to the priesthood in 2016.  From 2015 through 2017, he served as Assistant to the Rector at both St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Highland Park, PA, and St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Oakmont, PA. Shortly after being ordained a priest in 2016, he was called to serve as the Episcopal University Chaplain for the Diocese of Pittsburgh.  In January 2018 Dan was appointed Priest-in-Charge at All Saints Episcopal Church in Brighton Heights, PA, where he serves part-time in addition to his role as University Chaplain.
