Holy Week

Saturday, April 13 Palm Cross Making 10 AM

This year we will be making our palm crosses for Palm Sunday during our Community Soup Day. Come early to make crosses and stay for a free bowl of soup for lunch or come later and join in the cross making after lunch. Doors will be opened by 10 AM (lunch served from noon to 2).

Palm Sunday, April 14 Bishop’s Visit / Procession of Palms 10:30 AM

We are honored to have our bishop, the Right Reverend Dorsey McConnell, with us for our Palm Sunday worship service this year. Our Palm Sunday service will begin outside (weather permitting) with a procession of palms into the church. Please plan to stay after the service for a reception in the Guild Room.

Maundy Thursday, April 18 Holy Eucharist and Stripping of the Altar 7 PM

On Thursday in Holy Week, we remember the Last Supper. At the end of this service the altar is stripped of all ornamentation, crosses are removed and lights are extinguished in observation of the solemn occasion.

Good Friday, April 19 11:30 AM

The annual Brighton Heights Stations of the Cross Walk will begin at Brighton Heights Lutheran Church at 3830 California Avenue at 11:30 AM, proceed through the neighborhood, and will end at Risen Lord Parish at 3250 California Avenue. This is a Brighton Heights Community event and all are invited to participate.

Easter Sunday, Apr 21 Easter Morning Holy Eucharist 10:30 AM

Our Easter Sunday worship at All Saints will be a joyous occasion full of “Alleluias!” Everyone is invited to join in the Guild Room after the service for some Easter treats and fellowship.
