Holy Week Schedule

Please join the parish as we celebrate Holy Week! On Sunday, March  29, we will begin our Holy Week services with our Palm Sunday Celebration. The congregation will gather in the Guild Room at 10:30 AM and receive palms. We will then process into the church waving our palm fronds and singing, “All glory, laud and honor”. With the waving of palms, the congregation is reminded of Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem the week before his death and resurrection. We will also read the Passion of the Lord during our Palm Sunday Service. On Thursday, April 2, we will celebrate Maundy Thursday (also …

Please see Father John, or Stevie, about your interest. If you want to lay read, please see Karen Schaeffer. She will run through the easy instructions for lay reading, and put you on the spring schedule.

We are excited to have their presence and input as we join together to learn and grow in Christ!

Five Wishes Presentation Follow-up

Lots of good information was shared not only about the Five Wishes Living Will but also about funeral planning and the need to make a plan for the unexpected. Unfortunately, some parishioners were not able to attend this daytime program due to their work schedules. If you are interested in an evening or weekend presentation, please express your interest to Karen Schaeffer. She will be happy to schedule another presentation in the New Year.
