Christmas Giving Opportunities

elfAdopt-A-Family All Saints has the opportunity to help a Northside family of four: a single mother, her two sons (15 and 9) and one daughter (5) by providing Christmas presents, including necessities and “wish list” items. Our family recently moved into a new home after staying in a domestic violence shelter; the mother is looking for a job but is having difficulty making ends meet with the father now in jail. Tags with suggested gift items noted will be available in late November. As an alternative to taking a gift tag and purchasing an item, monetary donations of any amount would be greatly appreciated to purchase gift items and a Giant Eagle certificate for the family. Please bring all gift items (in a holiday bag) and monetary donations to the church by Sunday, December 13th. Checks may be written to All Saints Episcopal Church, with “Salvation Army” in the memo line.

Treasures for Children Toy Sorting Calling all saints (elves) who wish to join in the fun and work packaging Christmas toys for families served by The Salvation Army. We will meet on Wednesday, December 9th from 9AM to Noon at The Salvation Army’s warehouse (820 Parish Street, Greentree, PA 15220). Lunch at The Olive Garden (Dutch treat) will follow. A sign-up sheet for this event is in the church.
