We need to train a few additional people to assist with Sunday worship as Lay Readers and/ or Acolytes. Duties for Lay Readers include: Scripture lessons and Prayers of the People. Duties for Acolytes include: Carrying the cross, assisting with the Gospel Book, lighting the
candles, and serving Father John at the Altar table as he prepares the Eucharist. Please see Father John if you would like to participate in this most meaningful ministry. It is not a long training process, and it is Father John’s hope to have a monthly schedule of helpers in the
New Year.
