Sharing our Time and Talents

Kudos to 13 parishioners who shared their time and talents with us during our Spring Clean-up Day on Saturday, March 23rd! You may notice that the church pews shined during Holy Week. The windows in the Guild Room sparkled. The floors were dust-free. The couches were vacuumed. The silver and brass gleamed. Spider webs were vanquished. Concrete was scrubbed. Shrubs were trimmed and our flower beds were cleaned. Pizza was consumed. Wow! It was a great effort!

Sue contributed her sewing talent when she added a little bit of style and flair to our entrance way. Notice the beautiful gold table covering on the entrance table the next time you walk in the front door. Father John donated a pretty table lamp to complete the look.

Elva brightened our front doors with two floral Easter wreathes! Stevie folded palms into pretty keepsake crosses for Palm Sunday. Ed was our gracious greeter.

Stevie, Michael and Colby hosted their annual Easter reception, in the Guild Room, at the conclusion of our Easter Service! Darcy brought her delicious deviled (!) eggs. The children were given Easter surprises by some of our parishioners.

Michelle worked hard on all the bulletins for the week. Ed B. and Karyn’s music contributions were noteworthy (turn over to read more about the special music). Daryl has reprised her role as Sunday School teacher and now teaches, Bella, Caleb and Jason.

Thank you to the Altar Guild, who worked hard to make our worship space beautiful during Holy Week. All of you, those named and unnamed, are appreciated!
